Anyone got 2 feet of speaker cable going spare?

What's Hot

Need it to go from my make-shift L-pad attenuator to the actual speaker in my little Fender Pro combo...

Can't bring myself to spend £10 on a proper cable to only cut it short!

Cheers

What kind of quality do you need?

low quality... anything that can handle the kind of impedance/current etc between amp and speaker

I could dig you out a bit, but mains might be quicker!

Edit - the electrons don't go faster!  Quicker for you to have a finished cable :p

Make sure it's orange as per tradition. Old lawnmower should do.

oh i thought speaker cable had special capacity to hold the impedance or something, which is why you shouldn't use a normal guitar-to-amp cable...

might be having a moment here!

No, it's the other way round - instrument cables are shielded (to prevent hum), which can cause problems when used between an amp and a cab.

It's not a problem with the shielding, it's the current capacity of a instrument cable isn't great enough for use as a speaker cable.
