Valuing a used Martin D18

Hello,

I'm looking for the wisdom of the crowd - what would you pay for a used Martin D18, post upgrade model in excellent condition? New price is £2169 with some shopping around. What would you pay for a used one?

I’m seeing used ones in mint condition at shops for £1700 before haggling. I’m thinking £1400 is a viable private sale price. Am i wrong?

That sounds about right imo, assuming decent condition with case, etc. Maybe a smidge more for a complete minter if it's really stonkingly good in person

  • I'd aim for £1200 - £1400. I reckon with cash £1200 is achievable even factoring in the recent increase in price.

I think 1200 is on the cheaper side. I’d be happy to pay that if I was looking.
