"The Guitologist" scores a 1956 Martin D-21

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this, but one of my favourite YouTubers wound up scoring a bargain on a 1956 Martin D-21, and I thought some folks here might, at the very least, be interested in listening to just how good it sounds.

Playing starts just after the 48 minute mark. The rest of the video might be of interest too, as it goes into depth about all the things he checked/deduced to make sure it was genuine, as well as some minor repair work.


I watched the whole thing with my missus a few nights back, and when he started to play, I just got instantly jealous. It sounds so damn good...

    Yeah I watch Brad The Guitologist's videos too and that was a good one. I loved the guy on the other end of the phone at Martin - he sounded like he wasn't sure if he was being scammed or pranked or something.
