Can anyone offer any help or opinions on these, please?

Stumbled  across one in a junk shop over the weekend, sounded very sweet and I was a little bit smitten but I know nothing about them. The owner explained that it'd had a few mods but kept its mojo, it's a 1950's model, didn't get chance for pics.

It'd had had a new set of tuners fitted but looked original otherwise with no obvious breaks or repairs.

He wanted £450 for it, does this sound reasonable?

Many thaks for any help anyone can offer.

Levin were a Swedish guitar builder i think bought by Martin, for the fantastic wood store they had, and also they were serious competition!  i dont know about the parlour but the dreads are very well regarded hope my scant knowledge helps

Nice guitars, the dreads go for a decent amount but the parlours are usually around the 250 to 350 mark depending on model and condition, 450 I thinks too much.

Levins are very nice usually all solid guitars made in Sweden. Usual caveats on purchasing vintage guitars (risk of neck resets etc). I'd say £450 is definitely too much though, particularly if not original. There has been one on ebay for that price for months and months with no bites.

Many thanks for your replies, gents, looks like the general consensus is that it’s priced a bit over the odds.

@Epsilon, looking at the one on EBay (assuming it's the same one) looks like  that one has had a pretty major repair?

The one ive seen looks in better nick apart from the new tuners, plus it has what looks like an original canvas zip cover which is very cool indeed.
