Saw and played a nice used Takamine cedar-topped AN model today - apparently their NEX body style - seemed nice. Made in Japan.

Anyone used one?

I used to have an AN46.

It made such an impact that not a day goes by that I regret selling that guitar.

From what I can find that looks to be the spruce version of the one I tried.

Would the split saddle still be ok with a K&K ?

Don't know about the K&K with a split saddle I'm afraid.

Did you carefully read my response? :)

Not ire really...just less than the sum of its parts. Heavily finished. Generic neck. Uninspiring.

the K&K picks up (ha ha) the vibrations from the bridge plate.
Dose the Tak have a string through saddle ? - if so n worys bout bridge pins getting in the way, I've got one in my L25.
